One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.
During my travels I saw the world from many different perspectives, raw and intense sometimes, but overall I saw so much love and beauty in the people I’ve met, and it’s been an amazing colourful journey trying to capture that.

Starting January 2019 I’m happy to be able to work from my new studio!
Studio Hertogstaat, where I take portraits and focus on developing my own work.

My resume in a nutshell…

I studied at the Academy of Fine Arts from 2000-2005 and in 2004 I left The Netherlands with an Erasmus scholarship to study ‘studio photography with technical camera’ at the Art Academy St. Lukas in Brussels. I graduated in 2005 with a nomination for the ‘green olive award’ (most promising graduate of 2005 from the Dutch art academies) and a nomination for the ‘Van den Boomen talent fund’ (best graduate of 5 southern art academies).  Since then I’ve spent my time teaching, working in the studio and capturing life while traveling.
